AELMHU at the University of Castilla-La Mancha

AELMHU has been present, one more year, in the summer course organized by the University of Castilla - La Mancha, in collaboration with the Weber Foundation in Toledo.

The conference, which has become a reference event for the sector, aims to generate "a space for meeting, analysis and multidisciplinary debate on advances in the approach to rare diseases (Rare Diseases)" addressing such important issues about rare diseases as diagnosis, treatments and access to therapeutic innovation.

On this occasion, Marian Corral, director of AELMHU, was the representative of the association participating in the round table discussion on: "Challenges in terms of access to MMHH in Spain", moderated by Dr. Isaac Aranda Reneo, Associate Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis and member of the Health Economics and Health Management Research Group of the University of Castilla - La Mancha. Also participating in the debate were Dr. Antonio J. García Ruiz, Professor and Director of the Master's Degree in Health Economics, Health Management and Rational Use of Medicines of the Department of Pharmacology and Pediatrics of the University of Malaga (UMA); Dr. José Luis Poveda Andrés, Head of the Hospital Pharmacy Service of the Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe de Valencia and Girisha Fernando, CEO and founder of Lyfegen HealthTech AG.
