The Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra-Orphan Drug Laboratories is growing with four new companies, bringing together 20 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies present in Spain. The association hopes that this growth will serve to strengthen the implementation of initiatives to disseminate, debate and promote the value of orphan drugs. AMRYT Pharma, AveXis, GW Pharmaceuticals and Ultragenyx are pharmaceutical companies dedicated to the research and development of orphan drugs for the benefit of people affected by rare diseases.

With these 4 new additions, AELMHU strengthens its representativeness by bringing together 20 laboratories specialised in the research of orphan drugs and therapies for patients with rare diseases in Spain.
