AELMHU meets with FEDER

Several members of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra Orphan Drug Laboratories (AELMHU) have met with the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) at its headquarters in Madrid to meet, comment and discuss the new strategic lines of both organizations and to face the challenges that unite us in the context of rare diseases.

In this first institutional meeting of the new board of directors of AELMHU were present on behalf of FEDER its president, Juan Carrión, the vice presidents Fide Mirón and Santiago de la Riva, María Tomé, deputy director and responsible for the area of communication and recruitment, and Patricia Arias, responsible for the area of promotion of research and knowledge.

AELMHU was represented by its president, María José Sánchez, president, accompanied by Jose Luis Moreno, vice-president, and Marian Corral, executive director.

During the meeting, both organizations reflected on the future of rare diseases and how, each within its own field of action, they can contribute and work to address the most urgent challenges.
