Under the slogan "Days of changes. Days of hope", the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Federation has organized in Pamplona its VIII Congress on Cystic Fibrosis in collaboration with the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Navarra, host of the meeting.
On the first day, Marian Corral, director of AELMHU was one of the members of the panel "Early access to new treatments in Spain". The panel was moderated by the journalist Maitane Salinas and also counted with the participation of: Juan Da Silva, president of the Cystic Fibrosis Federation, Isabel Pineros, director of Access of Farmaindustria and Dr. Oscar Asensio de la Cruz, president of the Cystic Fibrosis Society.
The main topics addressed were: the future of orphan drugs, access to treatments, experiences learned after COVID-19, the current orphan drug financing model and its areas for improvement, mainly.
