VIII National Congress on Rare Diseases

The Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER), the Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra-Orphan Medicines Laboratories (AELMHU), the Spanish Association of Primary Care Paediatrics (AEPap), the Orphan Medicines and Rare Diseases Foundation (MEHUER), the Spanish Society of Social Paediatrics (SEPS) and the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) have signed a joint manifesto calling on public administrations to create "active platforms of a permanent nature", the Spanish Society of Social Paediatrics (SEPS) and the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) have signed a joint manifesto calling on public administrations to create "active and permanent platforms that will jointly enable the competent public authorities, political representatives and all groups belonging to the rare disease field to find effective solutions and thus defend, promote and improve the quality of life of the 3 million people affected by these diseases in Spain".
