Since 15 June, the Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra Orphan Medicinal Products (AELMHU) has been part of the State Pact for Science, a document signed by more than 86 organisations representing the scientific community, universities, business and workers, which includes measures to increase resources, strengthen the role of funding agencies and attract and retain research talent in Spain.
With this membership, AELMHU reaffirms its commitment to strengthening pharmaceutical innovation in our country and calls for rapid and equitable access for all Spanish patients to new therapies in the field of rare diseases.
