FEDER rewards AELMHU's efforts to bring the pharmaceutical industry together around rare diseases

In the framework of World Rare Disease Day, the Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra-Orphan Medicines Laboratories (AELMHU) received today from the honorary president of the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER), Queen Letizia, the Minister of Health, Dolors Montserrat, and the president of FEDER, Juan Carrión, the award for Corporate Social Responsibility for combining the efforts of the pharmaceutical industry to improve the quality of life of patients with rare diseases; the Minister of Health, Dolors Montserrat; and the President of FEDER, Juan Carrión; the award for Corporate Social Responsibility for combining the efforts of the pharmaceutical industry to improve the quality of life of people suffering from rare diseases.

Over the past year, AELMHU has developed actions together with FEDER with the aim of promoting awareness of rare diseases, and defending and guaranteeing better and greater access to orphan and ultra-orphan drugs in Spain.
