"With a prize of 5,000 euros in each category, the AELMHU awards recognise the Best Research Career, the Best Clinical Career and the Best Work in the Dissemination of Knowledge on Rare Diseases and/or Orphan Drugs.

A total of 38 nominations were submitted for the second edition of these Awards created by the Spanish Association of Orphan and Ultra-Orphan Drug Laboratories (AELMHU) to recognise the best work and professional careers in research and dissemination of rare diseases and orphan drugs".
